Peer Review Process
JAIIS is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity through a rigorous, double-blind peer review process.
1. Initial Screening
Upon submission, the editorial office checks the manuscript for formatting, scope alignment, and plagiarism. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's basic standards are rejected without peer review (desk rejection).
2. Reviewer Assignment
If the manuscript passes the initial screening, the handling editor assigns at least two independent, anonymous expert reviewers. JAIIS uses a strict double-blind peer review process.
3. Peer Review
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript's methodology, originality, significance, and clarity. They provide detailed feedback and a recommendation (Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject).
4. Editorial Decision
The handling editor makes a final decision based on the reviewers' reports. The corresponding author is notified of the decision along with the reviewers' anonymized comments.
